    Fair play to the OP for claiming though - last month I was smashed into by a car that didn't give way to me on a roundabout (national speed limit road). Dumb b*tch said many times she didn't see me, despite wearing high vis clothing and lights. Thankfully she did stop, but I reckon only for witnesses, otherwise she would have drove off like most scumbag motorists would I suspect (seeing as though we're generalising about road users on this thread). I was in hospital with fractured vertebrae, lacerations, shoulder and knee injuries. One of my knees is still painful to move.

    I am taking her to the cleaners.

    I hope you got the result you wanted and your injuries have healed by now.

    You're actually taking her Insurers to the cleaners it will make very little difference if any to her how much your actual claim ends up costing

    True, but she'll have to declare the accident each time she renews her insurance for the next 5 years. Hopefully it will make her drive more carefully in future anyway.
