Dark vertical line on screen saver page

I noticed this morning that when connecting at arriving at my screen saver picture, it is dark vertically on the right hand side, for about an inch in. To be honest I'm unsure if it was there prior to a windows update.

Hi, this could be one of several things, have you just updated your graphics driver, maybe as part of the windows update you mentioned ?

It could be that simply your image (a picture maybe?) is not of the same screen ratio as your screen eg 4:3 and not 19:9 in which case the image will retain its ratio to prevent distortion.

Depending on your Windows version images may not be set to 'stretch' to fill the screen while in screensaver mode.

Could you give more info on that images you are using, what Windows version you are on and if you use a third party screensaver app ?
