Posties are stuck with their free shares for three years.0 -
I think a few will buy on top, I know I would0

oh crap,
I couldn't log into my normal share dealing account, so i bought some via the Royal mail website.....
However, I clicked on "get your share certificate" instead of this royal mail trading account thing, which means its a paper copy, how do I sell this?!
I guess I will have to wait for days until I can make a sale? arghh0 -

Easiest way is to send it too your normal broker and get them to add it to your account but yes you will have to wait a while for this.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -

I've just put in two applications, one for me and one for my wife, on the Royal Mail site, and used my debit card for both applications. Only afterwards did I read in the FAQs that the debit card has to be in the applicant's name.
Both applications appear to have gone through ok. Any educated guesses as to what will happen to the application in my wife's name?0 -

How can you give them it back before you get it?
You`ll have to fill in the correct forms and send it to your broker to transfer to your nominee account.
Might take a couple of weeks and you should be able to print the forms from your broker`s site.0 -
Interesting royal mail shares are currently trading 387p on the grey market (IG Index) suggests a 30p profit per share or a £225 return on the min holding (£750)0
