extension heating

We have an extension on side of house with laminate and two glass doors to front and back of the house. There is no heating at present and it will get cold in the winter months. Does anyone have a good heater that will heat a reasonable size area quickly and mainly cheaply?. Most electrical heaters are expensive so if anyone has a recommendation that they use I would appreciate it.

Have you considered adding an extra zone to your main house heating if it has the capacity? If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!

Myser it thanks for coming back to me. It's a bit tough where all the pipe work is in the house and would be quiet expensive to do that.0

No you misunderstand. My comment was made in anticipation of your answer in Post 4. Why should you assume that I directly meant you particularly if you bought it this way? It should have been obvious that I meant "he that built the extension".dexterwolf wrote: »I brought the house two months ago so no chance. I live in constant bemusement that the obvious response to a question on here gets derided and dismissed as negativity whilst at the same time the optimistic gets lauded.

All electrical heaters are 100% efficient. Some distribute heat better than others. I have a Lidl 1- 2kw heater with a fan, thermostat and timer which cost £20 and that's pretty good.
You can get similar by Dimplex from places like Screwfix, but they might cost twice as much.
Long term, I'd look to extend the house heating system or perhaps put in a through the wall gas convector. It depends somewhat on the use of the room.0 -
Have you thought about under floor heating? We have in the conservatory and it is separate to the main heating.0
