Put the clamp on the input to the meter and it will monitor everything that is passing though the meterNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0

The two live input leads to the meter are on opposite ends so it's not possible to clamp them both unless the clamp is 15cm wide and doesn't need to be entirely wrapped around the wire.0 -
How many wires have you got leading into and out of your meter. Most have 4 but possibly you might have five.
There will be two input - one live and one neutral - you can put the clamp on either of these to monitor the current flow - not on both of them.
If you've got two output cables then one will be live and one will be neutral - you can put the clamp on either of them to monitor the current flow - not on both of them. If you've got multiple outlets (unlikely) then put the clamp on the input side of the meter.
the standard meter layout has four connections at the bottom configured as follows - live in on the left, then neutral in (these go to the company fuse/isolator), then neutral out, then live out - these go to the consumer unit, or if you've got economy 7 (a two rate meter) then the output cables might split so that they feed two consumer units - one for normal use and one for the storage heating. You might have other stuff like time switches or contactors - in which case just put the clamp on the left hand cable into the meter. Don't try and clamp two cables - it wont workNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
You can use the monitor to measure what you use as opposed to how much it costs.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0
