Parking charge from ParkingEye - Hospital car park

  • Will do, thank you very much!
  • Hi, just to chip in, I recently had a 'charge' at a hospital where I admitted myself as a patient and had problems paying for additional time when I overstayed (they used the number plate recognition cameras). I emailed the facilities manager at the hospital and complained that the system was unclear and that the charge was grossly disproportionate to any loss incurred - in my case it was midnight and the car park was empty - how can they justify a £40 charge?! In my case the hospital cancelled the charge and apologised profusely. Well worth giving this a try before appealing to PE directly.

Hi Beardyman, that sounds like it's well worth a go!

Coupon-mad is not accepting PMs at the moment owing to a recent bereavement. Please follow the advice and links that you have been given above. If you still need advice once you have done that, post your question here.
I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.
