Logging in to Lloyds and TSB

My wife had 3 Vantage accounts with Lloyds which have now been migrated to TSB. TSB internet banking tech support told me that the same log in credentials should work for both Lloyds and TSB - they left it this way intentionally. However, when my wife logs in to Lloyds she gets an error message saying that her accounts have been moved to TSB and that she should log in there instead. She (as a non-taxpayer) wants to open new Vantage accounts with Lloyds to take advantage of the 3% interest and therefore have 6 accounts in all. However, this doesn't seem possible online, even though she should still have internet banking with Lloyds. Has anyone else experienced this?

Does she still have accounts with Lloyds? Otherwise it won't work.0

Unless she still has any other accounts with Lloyds, then she's no longer a Lloyds customer ... so I wouldn't expect her to be able to log in.
She needs to apply as a new customer.0 -
I guess you're right. She doesn't have any remaining accounts with Lloyds. I thought it would be easy to open new Lloyds accounts since she still has login credentials but obviously not. I guess the only question is whether any new accounts she opens will be associated with her existing internet banking account. Then, maybe if she has genuine Lloyds accounts she won't get the error message when trying to log in.Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. If she opens a new account with Lloyds she will be able to use the same log in details when the account has been opened. Lloyds seem to send the card and pin number out before the log in details to any new Lloyds customers who do not have an internet account."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

This is what worked for me:
1) To login to TSB go to to the website in the leaflet they sent out recently.
tsb.co.uk - but for security do check with the official leaflet from TSB or phone them or ask in a branch, don't trust links posted on a forum!)
Use the login details as you used for LloydsTSB and you should see your accounts.
2) To Open the new Lloyds account - go to the old LloydsTSB website ( they do not seem to have created a new Lloyds website yet) and apply for the Lloyds account you want and ask for online banking to be set up. You should get a new set of login details to use.0
