Is it possible for you to record your speech and the either have it played back at the reception or given to your daughter at a later date (as a keepsake) if you are unable to attend?
It's one thought I am working on but it would be audio only as I couldn't cope with the stress of the visual as well. One day from hell, last year, saw me having two heart attacks, emergency surgery with two cardiac arrests thrown in all of which had an impact on my brains cognitive functions & so I am very forgetful, get very confused & can slur as if I'm drunk.
So I will get it written, then have a practice recording it on my PC & see how I feel about the output.0 -
Luminated you wonder! Your daughter (and wife!) must be hugely relieved you are still with them & planning to be part of the party - please give the PC a thorough drubbing as to be able to hear you & be able to re-read your words again will be a very special gift.0

I WILL do my best but anyone who reads my posts, on the Disability & Dosh board, will know the problems I face. But someone has to have the problems & this time it's me but I am very pragmatic & learned to accept my lot a long time ago :T0 -
Suggestion if you record audio, and want a visual what about setting it to a powerpoint presention, with photo's of the family though the years that are relevant to your speach?
Whatever you do good luck!0
