I have POA for my mum's Santander 123 (3%) account and manage it online.
* Open it online in her name.
* Collect her post/account info.
* Go to branch with POA & ID, and complete their POA registration form, and request online access.
* Write formal letter of complaint when they mess up.
* Accept £75 'goodwill' payment as apology
* get online access
Sorted!
She has several other accounts, both postal and online, all of which I manage.0
