Blackhorse PPI acceptance, time for cheque?

I had a letter regarding PPI on a loan and it has successfully been accepted and a cheque is due to me. The letter they have sent says that the cheque will be sent out within 28 days..... only thing is that means the 28th day is the day I go away (really early) and I don't fancy a big fat cheque sittng on my door step while im away.

Has anyone dealt with Blackhorse and how long did it take from the date they received the acceptance form to sending out the cheque? did it take he full 28 days or a lot less (fingers crossed)!!

Ring them up asap and ask to have it paid to your bank a/c.

Unfortunately "28 days" can often also mean anything between 30 and 90 days.
As above, I'd contact them and ask if it can be paid straight into a nominated Bank account.

My cheque took around a month before it appeared. You won't be able to get it sooner as they only pay out at a certain time of the month. That is what I was told.
