TSB on hold for 18 minutes!

Applied for a new TSB bank account, received a text saying they need more info, so phoned them and now been on hold 18 minutes to get through. Perhaps this is an initial indication that I shouldn't bother?!

It was online.
I managed eventually to get through, and they said there will be a welcome pack in the post in the next few days with my new account details.
Not sure what the "we need information" part of the text message they sent me was all about, as they didn't ask me for any lol.
I'm sceptical as to whether a new account will even arrive lol!0 -

I applied on Monday and my applications gone AWOL. Speaking to the online application department, they are saying applications are not live at present and they are all being keyed manually.

Why is there such a mad rush to join TSB. It's just a bank. Give it a year and they will be no better that any of the High Street mainstays.0
