How detailed should my quote be?

    If you're worried about how trustworthy the quote is, ask him for some numbers of previous clients and give them a grillling. I think you'd learn more about him that way.

    You can ask them about price, the payment schedule, if he worked to the timescale he'd promised and the eventual quality of the work.

    Please do that. It's worth it.
