Adobe Flash Player problem

I'm trying to embrace Windows 8 on my laptop, though I have to say I hate it. I'm trying to avoid using the desktop in the hope that I'll get used to Windows 8 eventually.
I use Google Chrome in Windows 8 mode and up until today Adobe Flash Player has worked ok. Now I'm getting a message to say it only works in desktop mode. This is from various websites, YouTube, FB etc.
Any ideas? Has something changed recently that stops it working in Windows 8 mode? It's going to drive me up the wall if I have to keep flicking between the desktop and Windows 8.

Thanks for that. I did google it but I didn't come up with anything. At least I know it's not just me then. I'll keep an eye on that forum page for updates.0
