Honestly I do not know, but I do not think they would leave such a thing out, especially as every games company in the world is currently intent on forcing us all to play together."Don't blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Good Luck" - The Doctor.0

Would have thought so if you can perform heists with friends.0

Well 360 has party chat built-in to the system unless Rockstar have disabled it. PS3 may not.0

Indeed. Party chat on the 360 is completely separate from the game.
I would expect it to have in-game chat though. Most multiplier games do nowadays.0 -

What's the difference between party chat and in-game chat, if party chat is separate from the game?0 -
They are both just chat, but party chat doesn't require you all to be in the same game lobby.0

Do you mean playing the same game?
Sorry for the dull question, but I've never owned an Xbox 360 before0 -
Party chat doesn't require you to be all playing the same game. In-game chat usually means you're all in the same party and will all join the same game lobby together.0

Sounds like the PS3 will be better for me. I wouldn't want to talk to other people who are playing a different game. It'll kill the mood!0 -
I never saw the point in that myself either.0
