PPI - How long must I wait

Hi All,

I started my claim with Lloyds TSB around 18 months ago, it took them a couple of months to tell me I was unsuccessful but I could appeal. My appeal was this time successful and they told me that my case was just waiting to be calculated before the final figure was being sent to me, this was around 12 months ago. I keep ringing them but all they say is "it is with the calculation dept, we cannot tell you anything else" Surely there must be a time limit with these things or can they keep fobbing me off for year?

Many thanks in advance for any information

write to them telling them if your calculations are not done within 7 days you'll be referring your complaint to the FOS. Stop ringing them, it gets you nowhere.

google for the ceo e-mail address too. If they don't write back in 7 days, e-amil him.
