Power Steering Oil Leaking

Hi All I have 13 year old Honda Accord its been a very reliable motor and Ive done 250K miles with it.It has had Power steering oil leak for some time diagnosed as the rack leaking.I dont want to spend big money to fix it and was considering trying Lucas powering Stop Leak product.Has anyone had experience of using this?

Not only does this work (from personal experience) but a lot of Jag techs use it to cure moans and groans from some of the Jag range. Make sure it isn't just an external clip that needs attention though, the product works by acting on the internal seals.

Thanks for your reply Im skeptical but I orderd the large 946ml £12.30on ebay & free P&P so aint no big deal if it dont work.But uncertain if it may cause P/s pump problems later on.Ill cross that bridge when & if.Thanks again for your time to post a reply

If you used it when it 1st had a weep it would have swelled the seals. But if its past a weep and leaking your way past that stuff.

New or 2nd hand rack. Or stop putting oil in and disconnect the pump and do some bodybuilding to work those muscles.

:jJust an update on my post.I bought the Lucas Power Steering Stop Leaks on Ebay for £12.30 and it works.No more leaking fluid on the drive and the car just passed its MOT.Might not be a permanent cure but saved some money for the time being:T
