cant use search on this site on tablet

Would have searched to see if anyone else has same problem, however soon as I type one letter in search that window closes.
This is a Samsung galaxy and its using Google+
Any help for using search?
Oh and search has same problem on other sites (just tried)

On my kindle in have to click advanced search at the bottom of the search box, that works fine.0

I have the same problem on an iPad with Safari, but after the search window closes I can just click on search again and it will work normally and not close again. It's very strange!Would have searched to see if anyone else has same problem, however soon as I type one letter in search that window closes.0
