Diary..confess..
I have to confess... I like bargains but I should only consider it if I have the cash. So, i used the cash. :€15.50
Bought on sale:
€6 - Soup bowl/pot - for the wintery times
€2 - A vase for drinking water
Tikka masala souce - use fora potluck party
Pasta for soup - will serve soup for a playdate tomorrow at my place
Plastic gloves - for washing
Now, i am not feeling guilty for the grocery except for the bargain stuff. I have to learn to discipline myself.Salary Loan: $16,737.42; $ 14,099.64

One thing I will comment upon. I also use a credit card for my daily expenditure and pay the balance every month... BUT... I find using plastic is far too easy and often I don't even look at the amount I've spent before keying in my PIN, although many a time I'll go _pale_ when I see my monthly balance has far exceeded my budget. When using cash for purchases I find I'm far more frugal“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

I am starting to realize that now. I usually use my debit card for small shop and use the credit card for big shop for grocery items. I am thinking of using cash and set aside the amount in an envelope or walllet, only that amount will be used for groceries. I hope to start on my next pay....wish me luck.Salary Loan: $16,737.42; $ 14,099.64

1AM, my baby is sleeping while I am sorting out all the receipts - from groceries to house/carpentry, travel expenses et cetera.. I just found out that i spent €900+ accumulated expenses from everything to anything. What was I thinking...
For this month, I have already spent 170+. I have to get in control...
I will continue the computation of my expenses this morning...Salary Loan: $16,737.42; $ 14,099.64

My plan did not go as I wanted yesterday. I went shopping to another store before going to ALDI. Now, I understood what they meant start at ALDI (or any cheaper store).
I spent €48.15 at Aldi and €23.59 at another shop - which I would've save more if I started my shpping at ALDI.
What I've accomplished for today - prepared my baby's food for next week.
Price €5.48 (good for 15 meals)
