Removing Financial Association

Hi,

Anyone know how long it takes for a Financial Association to be removed from your credit report? I decided to sign up to my 30 day free trial of the CreditExpert on Experian and decided to put all of my previous addresses in. I find my ex-wife on there as a financial association but we were divorced in 2010 and haven't even seen her since '07. I've emailed Experian but their automatic response says that they could take up to 2 weeks to respond. I looked at their disassociation form but it asks for the person's current address, i have no idea where they're living now. Need to urgently get my report cleaned up as about to apply for finance! Anyone know if they can act quickly on these things?

What joint financial products did you have?

What's the status? Open, settled, defaulted?

Guess time depends on the above and if they need any info from you.

I just filed a Notice of Disassociation with Experian, Equifax and Noddle to have my husband (with whom I still live) removed from my file. Took about a month for all three to action my request and then another month for a new report to be generated without him on it. I'd advise calling them rather than completing the online forms.

Only one debt i believe which went to default july '07, the others seem to be her current account which is odd. Default gone from report as 6 years have passed. Haven't spoken nor seen her since '07 myself and I believe she has re-married in that time. Oh well, will just have to see what happens, annoying if it takes a month to be disassociated from the person.
