Praise for Virgin trains

A big thank you to Virgin Trains this morning!
When I tried to print out my e-tickets at home earlier, my printer decided to die despite multiple attempts to rescusitate, and so I experienced the frustration that goes with an impatient cabbie waiting outside, combined with a-where-tf-do-I-get-these-printed-out-at-this-time-in-the-morning moment. (The ts&cs of the ticket - which was not cheap - were very specific in requiring a printout and inflexible with timings).
I thought I'd have to resort to looking for a 24hr internet cafe on the Euston Rd (I was 1/2 hr early for once in my life) but thankfully Virgin does have a facility for logging into their system at the station and printing which took all the stress out of the situation. At the moment there is no charge for this.
:T
Bear in mind that this is set to change in the future: while the facility will still be there, it will incur a £5 charge. But I personally had a good experience that I thought was worth sharing

Do give us an update on the resuscitation. Did you leave the printer in the recovery position (e.g. life still viable) or is it on the way to the printer morgue?:)

No idea until I am back at the end of the week. Printers are cheap enough to replace, just not so easy to do at 3.30amDo give us an update on the resuscitation. Did you leave the printer in the recovery position (e.g. life still viable) or is it on the way to the printer morgue?:)

It's not printing, it's passed on. This printer is no more. It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late printer. It's a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. If OP hadn't nailed it to the desk, it would be pushing up the daisies. It's run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. It is an ex-printer.0
