Credit Card cash transfer to current account.

Just a quick question,

My Virgin CC has a current account cash transfer facility (4% fee), if I do this would it show as just a normal credit card transfer, or as adverse like a credit card cashpoint withdrawal?

Comments

  • Nope it won't show up on CRA records.

Incidentally, I believe the impact of cash advances on ratings are widely exaggerated. I regularly get cash advances (say about 50 times a year) and don't seem to have any problems getting credit. I think it's only negative when taken with other factors - eg dodgy ratios.
  • Try https://www.skrill.com/en/ (once moneybrookers)

I use to be able to upload funds from a card for 1.9 % fee and deposit into my own bank account.

Agree Same applied to me when I had the Santander Zero and never effected my credit applications.
