windows live mail.

comes as part of windows live essentials. Pick "choose which programs to install" and untick all the rest of the rubbish except windows live mail.
As for the mail account settings, you'll need consult your old computer's Outlook Express and copy them across. Passwords could be a problem.0 -

Some people I know hate Windows Live Mail (after using Express). The main demand is "where's a nice big print button"
Thunderbird is good. But Outlook should be as good (which version have you tried?).
I'm not sure if I want to ask this but are you copying all the old mail over to the new computer? If an account uses "IMAP" then this is not a problem (the mail is kept at the ISP end). If its "POP" then the mail (by default) will only be stored on your old computer. The fun starts if you want to transfer that email to the new computer...If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0
