Damaged sofa, delivery cost refund refused

Hi there,

Bought a sofa from these people http://www.onlinesofawholesale.com over the phone.

I paid £62.50 for delivery cost. The sofa arrived and was badly damaged when it arrived as though it had been crushed in transit. I spoke to them and requested a refund as it was damaged and I'd decided I wouldn't like an exchange either.

They confirmed that they would refund me the cost of the sofa and collect the damaged goods, but refused to refund the initial delivery cost of £62.50.

I know that I am entitled to a refund of the delivery cost under the distance selling regulations even if the sofa wasn't faulty, so as it is faulty I'm assuming I'm also entitled to a refund of the delivery cost under the sale of goods act as well?

I raised this with them and still no luck, so I said I would find the relevant acts and sections and send them to them to show them my rights and their obligations. I've searched the Internet and can find numerous results confirming my beliefs but all on third party sites like MSE etc. Can anyone give me any links to any specific government pages that I can forward on to them to help get my money back?
