download it from adobe website
install it
close down internet explorer (can even restart your pc..to be sure)
And then load up internet explorer again and watch whatever you were trying to watch before....should work now0 -

There's an X in the top-right corner.
Or start Task Manager (right-click on the taskbar at the bottom), click the Processes tab, find the iexplore.exe process, right-click and select End process tree.
Or you can reboot your computer to be absolutely sure.
