TSB/Lloyds split - anyone sticking with Lloyds?

Hi guys,
I spoke to Lloyds at the end of July to ask if I could stay with them (silly EU bureaucrats telling me who I should bank with). I received a letter on August 2nd from Lloyds to acknowledge the request.
Today I noticed my current account & cc had disappeared from my Lloyds online banking account however these now appear when I log into TSB online banking. The cash ISA however is still with Lloyds TSB.
Although I opened the Cash ISA at my local Lloyds branch where both my current account and cc were opened, after speaking with TSB CS, it transpires that the account was moved to a central branch in the city.
TSB switching team have told me I will need to wait for a second letter from Lloyds which will have a reference number and a phone number. I will need to ring to initiate switching back to Lloyds and will get a third letter (at this point I nodded off)
The whole process seems like a PITA and I'm contemplating sticking with TSB because all my bills currently go out my current account and I have several direct debits setup also so want to avoid any potential screw ups.
The whole process seems so long winded. Has anyone else who has decided to stick with Lloyds had to jump through all these loopholes? My last question is if I were to stay with TSB, would moving my cash ISA from Lloyds be straightforward?
All the best

What can Lloyds offer you that TSB can't?
There's no need for your ISA to be at the bank your current account is with - that can be anywhere at all so is unaffected.0 -
I have asked myself the same question but given my experience I would rather stick with Lloyds who I've not had a problem in ages. I'm not insinuating TSB will give me problems but I am a pessimist.0

half hour on phone, yes/no answers. Didn't move Isa since my current rate was better. Some patience needed.0

I would any day stay with Lloyds Bank rather than go the route of TSB by going back in time. It would appear with them their is a place in their organisation for the Manwarings of this world. I've lived through that time and certainly do not want to go back to it.0

You do know that everyone who currently works for TSB used to work for Lloyds.
They are the same people, working in the same offices, managing the same products, for the same customers.
The only thing that's different is the logo.CRISPIANNE3 wrote: »I would any day stay with Lloyds Bank rather than go the route of TSB by going back in time. Do you really believe this? TSB hasn't done anything to indicate that it's going to be an old-fashioned style of bank. In the short term, at least, it'll operate in exactly the same way LTSB did.
Certainly no Mainwaring's to be seen!0 -
So does TSB have Classic Vantage Accounts?0
-
Where is it please?:)
I'm gonna have £6k to cream off from the vantage accounts, & I have other stuff in lower rate savings accounts...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Opening times that suit my needs.
There are two branches within walking distance of where I live but I have always used the one that is open until 5-00pm and also Saturday mornings as I don't arrive home from work until 4-30pm. This will be a Lloyds branch.
The other one, which will be a TSB branch, is only open until 4-00pm and not on Saturdays, which is no good to me.
I have already asked for the paperwork so as to move back to Lloyds explaining my reasons, and they said it may be possible that TSB will extend their opening times in the future.
In the future ????? Too late for customers such as myself who will already have moved back to Lloyds.0
