Consumer Advice Bureau Phone Call

Had the strangest phone call about 10 minutes ago, from the 'Consumer Advice Bureau', informing me that he was from a government backed office to help me with my unsecured debts and the problems I was having.

He told me I have been paying off the minimal amount on my current balances and the original balances were remaining the same, now I'm confused as I have 2 CC's which I do use but pay off in full each month (use for diesel and that kind of thing) so no balances there.. just repairing my credit.

I pushed to find out what he was selling, he wasn't selling anything apparently then went on about my balances again, I informed him that I didn't have any balances and if I do they are cleared in full each month.

I pressed him a bit more about the office he worked for, which section of the government backed his office, where did he get my information from, could I speak to his manager that apparently passed him my file? He then kind of backed off from the call, didn't want to tell me anything and wished me a nice day...

...then put the phone down...

Anyone else had these people call?
