Hi,
I am wondering if anyone could tell me how long the application form takes to process if you are applying for tax credits for the first time?
Also do they backdate the money for you the time it takes for the application to be delivered and processed?
And if possible just approx I'm single, no children, 25, living with parents and on 12k a year how much can I expect approx per week?
Thanks.

Have you tried https://www.entitledto.co.uk
Or type in Tax credits Online and use their calculator.
If you are entitled, they will backdate it up to three months.0 -
If the application is filled in correctly, it takes roughly two to three weeks to process it from the date it's received."Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you...
