HSBC PPI Claim

Hi, I wanted some advice, I recently started a claim for PPI via HSBC who have taken over HFC for a loan I took out 8 years ago which had huge amount of PPI each month added to it.

HSBC have written to state that unless I can prove documentation of the original loan they can't help me and will close my claim in 28 days.

I have searched high and low and can't find the paperwork, any idea how I would get hold of a copy now that HFC have been taken over?

Thanks in advance

You cant. if they no longer have it and you no longer have your copy then you cant get it. If you dont believe them then spend £10 and do a data subject access request.
