Scrap Price my Ford Focus

Hi All

After my old Focus Tddi cambelt failed early, I looking to scrap it best price for picking up the car up included is £120, based in Boston lincs.

I got a feeling this is the best price I will get from the scrappers.

Any advice would be great.

Why not put it on eBay as spares or repair? You are bound to get a lot more for it.

The scrap price will hardly vary between scrap dealers as they base their price on current scrap prices which are updated daily.

As above, there will always be someone around looking for Focus bits and getting them all in towable package will suit a lot of them. The buyer will probably recycle the bits they need, and scrap it then too!
  • Agreed, Ebay with accurate description of problem.

There's probably some bloke out there now with his Focus all bent to hell following a bump but with a good engine and box wondering what to do.

The scrappy will still be there in a months time if you have no joy.
