HSBC - 0% until next year

Hi

Just had a letter from HSBC advising me that my Promo offer of 0% until next year has now changed and will revert to the standard variable rate from July this year.

Anybody else had this letter?

I got a similar letter in April this year and other on here had it and said it was a mistake.

Just wondering before I spend an hour on the phone about it!

Cheers

Stewart

  • Yes, I got one of these today as well. Not had time to contact them yet though. Will try tomorrow.

I'll let you know the result.

Hi I phoned HSBC today and it relates to PURCHASES not BTs which remain in tact as 12 months 0%

  • Thanks for that Steve.

Re-reading the letter it clearly states purchases rather than balance transfers. Must read things properly in future!

Saved me a phone call and looking stupid. :j
