It has not been an easy choice to separate from my wife of many years but things have come between us and its just not working out. I am not currently stopping at the family home, (tried a break but really don't think it could work again) yet and still registered there and pay all the bills that need sorting etc.
We do claim working tax credits but that is all.
I was wondering if anyone could help by telling me who the wife and I need to get in touch with to sort things out.
We currently live in a housing association house (rented) and have 3 children .
Any help appreciated cheers

If you're not living in the family home and don't plan to any longer why are you paying all the bills? Take all meter readings necessary and get them changed into your wife's name. Contact the housing association and ask them to change the tenancy into your wife's sole name. Contact the Local Authority and get your name off the Council Tax bill, so your wife can claim the single occupancy discount.
Don;t forget that as an absolute minimum your should be paying your wife a percentage of your take-home pay towards supporting your children. For three children I think that's 25%.0 -
its only very recent that we have actuly decided to split for good (as of sunday ) I am asking who to contact for both her and me so she can claim whatever she needs. I still pay the bills as I am the childrens dad at the end of the day and wont leave them with nothing while things are getting sorted0
