    Balloons (lots!)
    Bubble mixture - fun to play with and brilliant photo opportunity...
    Kitchen jazz - how many songs can you sing accompanied by rice in a Tupperware box, and wooden spoon on saucepans?
    A DVD she hasn't seen yet?
    Jelly in three year old sized pots?
    Making a fort using two chairs & a blanket?
    A long walk together through snow, puddles or leaves when you all *want* to go out, but stay in on the day otherwise?!
  • Thanks again for all the replies, there are some really good suggestions here (loving the panto idea!) I think simplicity is the way forward. I also want to really enjoy this birthday as I have no doubt that when she turns 4 she will be a lot more opinionated on what she wants!
