I was going to order advent calendars the other day with the code for free box of continental but when I went to order today it has run out so 20% off is very welcome.

Got some of these bags at the same time for Christmas.

My order arrived today.

Very pleased with the bags of chocolate but not so pleased that I ordered the advent calendars to be iced with names and everyone of them is blank!!

Customer services number is an 0845 number - why should I have to pay to get it sorted, I expect they will just tell me to take them into a store to get it done, which kind of defeats the object of buying on line in the first place!!

If you would like to get in touch with Customer Services and not use the 0845 number then you may wish to visit the website SAYNOTO0870.COM and there will be an alternative geographical number and a freephone number for Thorntons.

I always visit this website if faced with an 0845 type number and invariably find an alternative option.

Yes I found a freephone number for them.

They were most unhelpful. For some reason "it was not downloaded when I confirmed the order" and it is my fault for not "checking the confirmation email" which I am told would have shown all the names.

I cannot believe that for the sake of 5 little pieces of chocolate iced
with a name they have truly alienated a customer.

I now have to take them into a store to get them iced.

I really hate their website, never had these kind of problems before they changed it.
