  • Just spoke to father in law (he's an electritian) explained the units plug directly into the wall socket, he said if I can heat them up at anytime (which I can) that they are not rugged up to E7 like they should be as they're supposed to be wired into the wall and be connected to the E7 supply meaning the only come on at night, also havibg them all on could quite possibly trip the whole board! Gahhh!
    He has suggested only using the one in my sons room and heat it up before bed and let it trickle out during the night to keep it at a reasonable temp and to get another type of heater for the living room.

    Hi,

    well, sounds as though your set up is totally wrong, in no way should a storage heater be on a plug.

    Get it sorted with landlord first, before you end up with a hefty winter electricity bill.
