Divorce - co-respondent won't sign

If the husband is the petitioner then he can apply for a decree nisi 21 days after the petition was filed.
If you aren't defending the divorce (ie denying that the adultery took place and/or trying to stop the divorce from going through) then it makes no difference what 'evidence' the petitioner has in terms of whether or not the divorce will go through. I'm not an expert, but the only impact I can see it having is if the 'evidence' is very good and the petitioner has made an application for the respondents to pay his costs, the court may be able to apportion some of the costs to the co-respondent.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
Why do people bother divorcing for adultery? Just do it for unreasonable behaviour and make one of the examples "having sex with other people."0
