Please advice me - buying a car

Hi there, Im thinking of buying a used car 2012 number plate, toyata yaris 1.0 VVT, 5550 miles. Price quoted is 7988. The car will cost me £8946 after 3 years. I'd be looking for something like a Yaris (decent car) but a bit older - after 3 years it'll have depreciated the most so older than that, but you can get a 2007 1.0 Yaris for under £4k. It'll have higher miles and maybe be an older model, but you'll save about £4k on the purchase price (and most once you factor in repayments), which will easily offset the cost of maintaining the slightly older car.
