Downside is the limited expandability. Business model has nothing to do with it's basic functionality.

If I buy one then I don't think I would ever need to expand given the limited use I'd need it for.

ethernet cards have been part of basic pc spec for around 15 years, a business machine would be pretty useless without one, (although a wireless usb adapter can be added)

antivirus and IE should be both included.
