Can 'amount of years at address' on credit file differ to Electrol roll?

If your Experien/ Equifax credit file have the amount of years and months exactly you have been at your credit file...

then can this amount of time be different to the amount of years at the same address which is on the electrol roll for that person ?

I think you may have worded your question wrongly, as it doesn't seem to make sense, however, if you mean; can Experian / Equifax report a different amount of time at your current address than shows on the electoral roll, then I don't think this is possible.

Having said that, I'm sure errors do happen from time to time.

I think the answer is yes.
The CRA only find you when you register on the electoral roll but you might have been living there before then.

Particularly if you were living there but non entitled to be on the electoral roll.

Credit applications ask you how long you have been living at an address, not how long you have been registered to vote.
