Arghh a year left until defaults drop off

Sigh. I just had to vent somewhere, I hope you dont mind. I am sure some of you feel my pain. I worked my !!! off to clear £27 k of debt and have been debt free for years now..however I have never stopped hanging onto the horrible scary feelings that someone will come calling again. Even though I know I dont owe any money, I have had nasty surprises in the past and still feel sick about it. I last spoke to the cccs over a year ago about how I could remove my defaults and we decided being that it was only a year left until they dropped off I should just deal with it. Anyway, with baited breath I just paid to check my experian account and we worked it out wrong!! Its next September! sob sob. I feel so flat now : (

We're in the same boat dingle. My arrangements to pay FINALLY fall off in September 2014 and I cannot wait.

I just think of how far I've come and that I've learned my lesson to never fall into the trap of financial stress and worry ever again!
