Barclaycard pre check accurate???

Hi
I have previous poor credit but have had a vanquis and cap one classic since beginning of year. All managed very well and mostly paid in full. I have a satisfied ccj dropping off in November and a 5 1/2 yr old default.
I did the barclaycard pre check and it says I have a very good chance of the platinum balance transfer card??
Do you think it's accurate as I didn't think I would be eligible at all for this!
Any personal experiences?

If your last bit of adverse data was 5 1/2 years ago and you've run your accounts well since then you aren't likely to be perceived as too high a risk credit score wise
Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I have ran mobile phone accounts, bank account, and this year my two credit cards all well.
Just after a card that's a little kinder on the spr front. I also bank with Barclays, but not sure if this makes a difference. A little worried about applying as font want a rejection on my credit files and I reclaimed bank charges about 4 1/2 years ago .0 -
Anyone had a 'good chance' to be turned down?0

They will only see the search, not the decision.0

Just checked the nationwide card out and it offers £1500 , 0% bt, and apr 17.9 %
does this mean thats what i'll get? doesn't give me an odds of getting accepted or anything just a quote than I can click on to accept?
im confused a little and don't want to knacker my credit file using the wrong search for an application. any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
p.s just read the criteria for the nationwide one and it says no ccj's, but mine was settled 5 1/2 yrs ago and is dropping off in begining of november.0
