Scaffolding outside house for a week!!

I have had my fascias, soffits and guttering done, they finished a week ago but the scaffolding is still up. Everytime I call them they say they have been busy and will collect tomorrow, only they never come.
Is there anything at all I can do?

Text them to say you will charge them £100/day to store the scaffolding on your land?0

They will have to if you don't let them get it,i did similar two years ago when we had ours done, they came to collect the same day after i advised them of the costs involved0

In my experience scaffolding companies can sometimes find it cheaper to leave the scaffolding up than taking it down and having to store it.:mad: took me ages and legal threats to get ours taken down.0 -
Why not tell them that you plan to sell it for scrap? ;-)Solar install June 2022, Bath

Post an ad on Freecycle... Scaffolding to collect for free, must be able to take down and remove. When company comes back just advise them it was removed by someone after you'd notified them

This is obviously a joke...for anyone that has taken it literally!0 -
A minor development now...
I called them on Monday morning, they said it would definitely be taken down in the next couple of days.
I called today at 6pm as its still there. They told me that the scaffolding company dont give them dates as to when they will remove it so I just need to wait although it will definitely be down this week. Apparently the scaffolding company have had a van off the road. I told him that is his problem, not mine.
I explained that if you leave scaffolding unattended at a house then you run the risk of gypsies coming and taking it. He accused me of threatening him.
He was now very agitated and said he was getting "pi**ed off with people calling to have the scaffolding taken down". I explained that although I do not know how his business runs, surely a simple solution to that problem would be to take down the scaffolding. He told me to "f**k off" and hung up on me.
So what now? I am not a scaffolding storage yard, surely they cant just leave it at my house until they have another job in the area. I want it gone. What can I do?0
