Afternoon Guys,
my very old Cat of 18 yrs needs to be put down sadly.
Just wanted to know what the Vet fees will be?
I know you can't put a price on a beloved Pet....but would just like to know roughly in case i get a surprise (money's a bit tight at the mo
).
Thanks in advance for all replies.

It varies, depending on where you live.
Sorry to hear about your poor cat xx xx0 -
i also had my old cat cremated on her own as i wanted her ashes back and it cost me about £130 i think. That was last year.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

I am so sorry Goldfizz. You are clearly a good cat owner who has looked after her/him very well. I am sure your cat has had a lovely life with you!
Cat euthanasia - without checking, I would hazard a guess at around £50-£70, but check online maybe?
Best wishes and say goodbye from me.
Awwwww,
I hope you will be OK, and I am glad you are doing the best for your cat. 0 -
Thanks for the replies guys,....all your kind words did set me off though
.
£50-70 isn't too bad, but i can always ask my family to help out if necessary (if it's a lot more than that).
Thanks again!0 -
Sorry to hear about your cat - but he/she had a long and surely happy life with you.
I am in London so all is more expensive. It was around £300.00 but 3 years ago and with individual cremation. We have Tiger in a box on the shelf here with us

Why don't you just phone the vet and ask??"Men are generally more careful of the breed(ing) of their horses and dogs than of their children" - William Penn 1644-1718

Our cat was sadly put to sleep 3 weeks ago and it cost us £35.00. That's in Norfolk. Sending you hugs x0

Poor little thing didn't even make it through the night.
He died abt 1/2 an hour ago.
But thanks for all your kind words.0 -
awwww Goldfizz - I am so sorry about your cat - but, a natural death without pain is the best way to go. All my pets had to be PTS and tbh I almost envy you. Its a decision taken out of your hands and you at least aren't left wondering if you made the right one.0

So so sorry for your loss, 18 is an amazing age for a cat & i'm sure s/he was happy & much loved. No way to go is 'nice' but in your sleep has to be the best way safe & warm x0
