Help with Barclay Card 6 Late payments mark for 15 months continuously!

Hi all money saving experts!
Barclay card taken on 2003. Had problem of paying from November 2011. Total debt was £2600.00 (including interest and I did not have any PPI on it). On March 2012 there was the first report of 6 late payments on credit file. They reported 6 late payments continuously for 15 months till May 2013.
They did not chase me but I called them in June 2013 and asked for final settlement. They agreed and I paid around £800 on June 2013 as a Partial Settlement. They accepted and update credit file with Partial Settlement with condition that they will not chase me for any remaining balance ever.
However, I had some more fund and I paid the remaining £1800.00 in July 2013 as I just wanted to clear it up even after the account was partially settled.
Now, the main question is that they have reported 6 late payments from March 2012 to May 2013 (for almost 15 months). Is it better to tell them to default me on March 2012 OR to keep this 6 late payments marking for 15 months as mentioned above. Life is settled now and I am planning to take a mortgage in next year July 2014.
Your help is needed to decide what to do!

Thank Thrugelmir!
What do you think? Is it better to keep 15 late payments or ask them to default me (as they should have defaulted me after 6 late payments as per the rule)?0
