OK, I'm a bit confused by the interest charges on one of my cards. If you clear the balance on your payment date, should you be charged interest? What happens if you used your card the day before your payment date, but the transaction hasn't appeared on your account yet? Or does it vary from card issuer to card issuer?…

Call or send a secure message to ask them but the only times you should be charged are

1) Your payment didn't CLEAR on time (did you allow for clearance?)
2) You have something that was acrruing interest previously.
3) You took a "cash" advance - this include foreign currency and credit to gambling/gaming sites.

You need to question it as occassionally mistakes are made.
