Also i'm off to T's later as I have 6 boxes of coke, a lemon, and a box of special K to collect.

Wondering what funny looks I may get..... Or if they've had 'afew' similar C&C's. ;)

Have a few things to check for in store too thanks to you lot, mags would be handy but store usually well behind in getting them and i'm not up there often.

Going to look for the £5 Velvet amongst other things. For those of you who are wanting MOC, I thought i'd have a quick google and typed in 'velvet 50p off coupon.' First link took me to a page to submit my details and if I tick box at bottom I could print out. I now have 2 x 50p off Velvet safe coupons. These have a pick of the velvet at the top above the voucher, (like many others) but I turn the paper over and round to print the second, so on the back of the cut out voucher is a pic of the velvet. (I do this with many safe vouchers.) Its funny that when curious SA's are messing with looking at vouchers they have much less of a problem taking a voucher with an image of the item on the back, not sure why???? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Has anyone gone for APG on beer in A's yet?
  • Can I just have a moan about the weather? It's been really horrible for days now - that misty rain that just makes you feel cold and uncomfortable, not really enough for a coat in fact I was just wearing a couple of T shirts to T's but then in store it made me start shivering. It's rubbish in our house, I'm not turning on the central heating in September !!!!!! but I did just put on a jumper. Plus I had to get up early to take my girl to swimming training for 7am so I'm knackered already. The good thing is: she's really getting into being a 'pro' swimmer and easy to motivate with a few bribes, she's pretty handy for an 8YO actually.

My other bargain find of the day. Spectacle repair kit 25p. Found in the pharmacy on a clipstrip next to all the optrex stuff. B/C 0007

Im much more excited about this than the duct tape ;) It has really cute mini screwdrivers and tweezers. A girl can never have too many screwdrivers :D

Have they got it in? I was in there on Tuesday Evening and was disappointed that it wasn't there :(

No! Asked at CS and was told as the store is undergoing a refit, they aren't getting any copies until Oct 14th. Whether that's true or not, I don't know.

Ended up doing my Old El Paso One Pan kits shop at Tesco as it would have been a wasted journey otherwise. Can confirm they compare well.

Bought 8 boxes at £3.22 = £25.76 plus fillers = £25.60. Had £20 worth of PPs so paid £5.60 cash. Got a new PP for £9.76 as they compare to ASDA at £2 each.
