Last Xmas...before I found this thread DH was out of work between finishing one job and starting another, we were :eek:we had to pay 3 months worth of bills from 1 months wage. It was a good job I'd been stocking up when I could on the lead up to Xmas. We had to eat what we had in the cupboards, it wasn't nice. Some days I actually didn't eat so the kids could I don't ever want to go down that road again. Thanks to this thread I wont:)

On another note I tried adding an avatar( I think) a picture of my beloved cat but she ended up sideways does anyone know how to change it, or what I did wrong? Tia:)

Ah m2m. It saddens me that so many parents are living like that now but glad you guys are ok.

It's great to have money for a rainy day.

A friend of mine asked me the other day if I felt like I was missing out living the way I do now. I said no not at all. It makes me value the money I make and spend. I never used to before. It was there and then it was gone. I would 'treat' myself all the time so in the end it was just normal behaviour, not a treat at all.

I'm going to go shopping this weekend and treat myself. No impulse purchases, just lots of window shopping and a promise to only buy what I really need/will get a lot of use out of

My 2 coke orders have just been delivered. DS2 is practically foaming at the mouth :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

He asked the delivery driver if there was a glitch on :o He was so excited that he was speaking way too fast and the driver didnt have a clue what he was on about

duhhh! just been told by my not so d/h that we dont need beer he doesnt drink it much whats the point!!!..... whats the point i told him, its a glitch & im excited when its a glitch, but hes having none of it!... d/s will be home soon & I know he WILL go for it if its still on about 5.45 ish, so still time for me to get my glitch fix for the day x i know he wont try it & make his lovely mumsy go fetch for him

none on shelfs so went to customer service desk who looked and said funny none out we have 120 showing, she asked someone to get me three, and when they came with them i asked for another 3 to be told there was none left, i said to customer service woman you said there was over 100 showing to which she said to me she never said that, i looked like a liar.
