No lou, the shampoo is a trigger for the 3 for £5. You need two more items from the 3 for £5 - they should then compare on APG at full price.

Would someone be kind enough to briefly explain what this trigger thing is?? I have been reading for days but unless I am missing something it just doesn't make sense to me and as money is tight I can't really afford to buy to check if my logic is correct or not

Think they are rare as hens teeth now but recently I found a code I hadnt printed out yet but it was very faded and couldnt read the code, so I emailed them and asked them if I send the code to them, could they send me another one. Well they replied and just gave me a new code.
So I tried again using my mums email adress but didnt offer to send in the code, just said I côuldnt read the code and they emailed me another new code.

So might be worth a try

Have a look at my last shop.http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=63166412&postcount=6116 I paid £5 in A's for the shampoo and 2 Dove items. The shampoo doesn't appear on the APG - so Doves compared at their full price, adding £4.52 to my APG.

Yes lou it can be any other item in the offer, but better if they compare favourably to another shop. The Alberto VO5 Heat Protect Styling Spray is £3.60 A's v £3.49 W's so would only give an APG of 92p for 2 in an A v W shop.
