Can anyone remember when Travelodge do their Sale Rooms offers ? I need to book for next January & February again and I think I was able to book sometime around October last year. Sods Law they'll come up while I'm away on holiday.

T&Cs said that the book deal won't count towards referral threshold

By all means refer him, buy a book, get £5 cashback, but you'll be no closer to earning the referral amount ;)

    ETA:

    Thanks x x

Turns out he has an account anyway, must have been a previous offer :rotfl::rotfl:

He's absolutely correct though! What possible problem can they have with that (just that it wasn't in conformity with their expectations):rotfl:? Nothing "significant" may have happened - lots of things, fairly insignificant, happen each day - that might have built up to something more.

But that wasn't (I presume) what they asked.

I bet nothing significant's happened since I was born! (Especially not on their wording of their own question:rotfl::p) (:p to them not you!)

And not only on a personal level but when you compare it to great periods of history - the Great Fire of London, the Industrial Revolution, the Great Exhibition, World Wars I and II - nothing significant has happened in the last 7 years. Choosing of the next X-factor or Big Brother winner certainly doesn't qualify in my book either!:p:D:rotfl::rotfl:

You are probably right Savvy! :D his revised timeline consisted of 3 events. Him being born :D, him starting his education and the day that he got his dog

Missing from his timeline of significant events, all 4 of his grandparents passing, his Dad having a near fatal injury and all manner of other 'big' things that the rest of us apperently consider significant but he doesn't. A very insightful homework session.

What made me :rotfl: was that someone had kindly drawn a line for him because he's not good with a pencil. He went to the trouble of scanning the said line onto the PC so ho could type right along the line the 'nothing significant' comment. It was all totally over his head :o

There's also the £5 off £25 M&S spend with Recyclebank......if you wanted to be the perfect SiL. You can get a couple of meal deals for £15:)

    Thanks, I'll have a look

I gave them £5 off MOCs to use on their xmas shopping last year, but they left them at home when they went to collect :wall:

End of the Morries comp. on that last shop - none of the Cat Foods comparable vs M.
Also - we could do with a £1 or any 2 for £4 on the Dairylea Jumbos...:rotfl::rotfl:

The Chicago Deep Dish Pepperoni 2pk vs £1.00 in Waities. But why bother, when the Oetkers...etc..??

    Vs M (pretty uselessly:rotfl:)
    1 x ASDA Smartprice White Toilet Tissue - 200 Sheets p...£1.95N/A
3 x ASDA Tiger with Rabbit & Chicken in Jelly (400g)£1.38N/A
    1 x ASDA Thick Bleach Pink (1.13L)£0.75N/A
    1 x ASDA Thick Bleach Original (1.13L)£0.75N/A
1 x ASDA Tiger Senior Complete with Tasty Chicken,Turk...£1.32N/A
1 x ASDA Protect Mouthwash Cool Mint (750ml)£1.00N/A
1 x Calypso Mr. Freeze Freezepops Cola Orange Raspberr...£1.39N/A
    1 x Barny Milk Sponge Biscuits (150g)£1.00£1.00
    1 x Dairylea Dunkers Jumbo Tubes (4x47g)£1.00£1.09
    Comparison total (compared products only)£49.12£51.48

The mixed and matched Bleach, if you need it (perhaps vs M), is 'reasonable' on the A mbuy price and acts as two fillers vs M (or more if you go mad and also get two other flavours:eek:).

    That made me chuckle

I just discovered that I have an amazon account. No idea why I set it up and there is no activity showing on it.

Weird thing is it is set up with my current address and I've been here less than a year. Why/When the heck did I sign up this year??

    Worked for me (korma/jalfrezi/springrolls)

Had it for dinner with the samosas from the BNI pizza deal. :money:

In the scheme of things, grandparents???
Self being born is certainly 'significant'. And his education:D and dog mean a lot to him.

His dad didn't die did he? So all's fine and well!!:):j:D

As for the part I've now emboldened, :rotfl::rotfl:(sorry!:o).
