A big thank you to everyone for your kind words and support. Misty passed away peacefully this morning whilst I stroked her head. It was the best way she could have gone and in her own home, laying on her blanket. We then drove her to Raystede pet crematorium where we said our last goodbyes and left her in the safe hands of the lovely gentleman that runs it. When we get her ashes back we will scatter them in the park near home that she spent many happy hours running around. I'd like to sent big hugs back to everyone and feel for all that have also lost their beloved pets. x

It is so hard for us pet owners, but this is one thing we can do for them at the end, to let them go with dignity and at peace. Much love to you and your family wackynut

I miss my dogs but appreciate that I can no longer look after one dog (never mind 3 dogs ;)) due to my lack of mobility. However, I fill that gap by helping out the dog rescue that we raised money for through Alan's funeral collection, etc, by making donations of food I get through glitches and money back guarantees, as well as financial donations. I have this last week been clearing out all the stuff I had put to one side for ebay or charity shop, and someone from the dog rescue is coming to collect it all on Thursday to put what they can on ebay and boot sale the rest. There is realistically about £200-£300 worth of stuff there, but I have had it so long and just can't get any motivation to list it, so I would rather they got the benefit, and I clear much needed space at the same time

Last month, they asked for help in raising £300 for two new wooden pens they'd been offered, and, after giving it some thought, I offered to wholly sponsor these pens in Mr 3Dogs' memory, and Caroline was delighted and said she would get a plaque put on them with Alan's name on, which I will go round to see when all sorted, taking some lovely fleeces I got through the recent H&M glitch ;) I am sure the dogs won't mind floral coral coloured fleeces :rotfl:

There have been such terrible horror stories of animal abuse lately, including the treatment and slaughter of stray dogs in Romania, it is all so hard to read about, but I believe if we don't read about it, we are turning a blind eye. We need to see what is happening to be able to stop it

Hello everyone, I've been awake since about 3.30 and I've been up since about 5.30 - a weekend of too much drink and not enough gardening I think has played havoc with the natural balance I think :D

So cuddled up on the sofa with a blanket and 2 black cats I have the first proper look at the new MSL cash backs. I seem to have lost about 40 since Saturday morning, no idea what.

Firstly I make a list of all the brands on the off chance that something might appear on a trolley rec.

Then the very tedious job of scrolling through 50 at time - huge pity its not possible to print off in list format.

I notice some very large price differences in some Nivea products - £10 in one place, £5 in another so some potential for sainsbobss BM or APG recycling.

Even so nothing on the list I would actually buy but then hidden away I find the 2 100% items :T Fingers crossed my Sadaa stocks them today and they don't fall off the cashback list before I can get out of the door :)

MSL cashback has updated again to add various Andrex with 20% cashback.

Not 50% but still promising that the cashback offers haven't ended so a chance for better deals to come.
