In NI we have been paying the bag tax for a while now, usually 5p for the thin everday bags and 8p for the more heavy duty reusable ones. You just get used to carrying reuseable bags with you. Some of the shops did give out free bags in the run up to the date the charge was introduced.
  • Almost forgot to get 2 x 5000 T points for insurance, 2 per address is fine according to the rules. Not as good as previous - but 12 months x £5 is £60 - and 5000 T points = 12000 Avios = c. £120 plus the life insurance for free. I think for a lot of you 5000 T points = 3x or 4x in deals? http://www.tescobank.com/insurance/lifeins/index.html?referrerid=tesco20&simigvis=NS41OTAuNzM4MDQ5NDA4MDIxMS4xMzc5MTQ2Mzg4Mjkx*

The baked to perfection lemon and chive fillets are showing as 25% cashback

£3.98 As vs £1.00 Ts so paid to take them away after c/b :j

That's the only interesting thing I've seen :(
(showing as n/a on the web page for me signed in but showing up as comparing on the app and I tend to find the app more reliable :) )

Edit: also the 7 pack of mini cheddars is there so I may have to give it a go with one of my 50% extra free ones :D as I keep buying them anyway :j

    £1.88 Ts vs £1.00 As
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
    Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Done the research and it happened for about 15 minutes, so no surprise we missed it as a US based company, and it being mainly internal flights. We can hope though....

From what I've read it's all junk :(

It still won't stop me compiling an A vs whoever shopping list for later as I could do with grabbing some panabellos too :D

Some of the fish is good for me. And the 150g bags of crisps as I can just dish them out in the kids lunch boxes a little at a time...
